Tidings of Comfort and Joy

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year! Nothing says happiness like Christmas sugar cookies.

It is also so much fun decorating them together as a family. Those cookies that survive the frosting process (i.e. don’t get eaten “raw”) really look Christmas-ey!  Cookies are a comfort food as well.

Young band members getting ready to play in their first Christmas concert can bring their parents a lot of joy, I know it worked for me.

It isn’t the Philharmonic but I think it is quite good for the local 7th grade band.

It's been such a long time since I've had kid(s) in band. It's certainly a time to enjoy, and those cookies look very yummy. 🙂

Danni – Thank you, she liked your comment.Teresa – Local school band concerts seem like a simple form of entertainment from a simpler time, still worth the effort though. Sugar cookies are the best.
